As we begin to enjoy our indoor spaces again, the team here at Vancouverscape has been looking at a few L’Occitane products to add a touch of fragrance to the home and body.
L’Occitane’s soaps are created with vegetable (not palm) oil and made using a traditional Provençal cauldron method. Shea extract, known for softening and nourishing the skin, is added to give their soaps a creamy lather.

Shea butter has been used for centuries by Sub-Saharan women as a nourishing ingredient for both skin and hair. L’Occitane also gives back to Burkina Faso’s local community by providing Burkinabé women a way to develop a sustainable, fair-trade shea butter supply chain.

L’Occitane’s limited-edition Mandarin Extra-Gentle Soap contains Verbena Mandarin perfume that evokes fresh mandarin peel while leaving the skin soft and clean. We like the small square size that’s perfectly suited for guest bathrooms and smaller, urban-minded sink spaces.

Herbae L’Eau Eau de Toilette
Herbae L’Eau Eau de Toilette is a lovely combination of florals and wild grasses along with angelica and a hint of marshmallow, for a delicate scent that’s not too strong when worn. Cocon de Sérénité Relaxing Candle
L’Occitane’s Cocon de Sérénité fragrance is a subtle blend of Lavender, Sweet Orange, Bergamot, Mandarin and Geranium essential oils for a calming experience. These are poured into a rounded, opaque glass jar and give a warm glow when illuminated.
