La Poutine Week

La Poutine Week’s founders are proud to celebrate the 10th edition of the interactive culinary festival, which has made its mark on the Canadian scene by bringing together poutine lovers from coast to coast.

To mark this special edition, La Poutine Week will be celebrated for two full weeks, from February 1 to 14, and we’re getting hungry just looking at these photos!

For several years now, La Poutine Week has mobilized hundreds of thousands of participants in all major Canadian cities.

This 10th edition will bring together a wide range of restaurants and their poutines from Vancouver to Montréal (or from Calgary to Toronto, depending on how you look at it). One thing’s for sure: We’re united by a single bond — an eternal and unwavering passion for the marriage between potatoes, brown sauce and cheese.

During the event, participants will be invited to share their culinary experience on social media and to vote for their favourite on the La Poutine Week website.

At the end of the culinary competition, contenders from different categories will be awarded a winning poutine, including ‘People’s Choice’ and ‘Judges’ Choice’.

Especially prepared for take-out and delivery, all Canadians can participate via DoorDash to help support local restaurant communities.

Doordash will offer $8 off orders of $15 or more throughout La Poutine Week, on all eligible DoorDash poutine orders.

Doordash and La Poutine Week will also award additional prizes and gifts.

La Poutine Week is made possible thanks to its partners SaputoTM and Sysco. SaputoTM will once again invite participants to enjoy their cheeses throughout the event. And as Canada’s leading food service distributor, Sysco will provide a selection of fresh products to restaurant owners to support their success during the two-week competition.

La Poutine Week is also an opportunity to raise funds for a cause close to its heart. Once again, the festival is proud to partner with ANEB, a non-profit organization of health professionals with a mission to ensure help and support for people living with eating disorders.

United Way Winnipeg, a non-profit helping communities in need across Winnipeg, and Moisson Québec, a food bank organization in the City of Quebec, will also join this year.
