The Green Men have entertained the Rogers Arena Canucks crowd at nearly every game. Their antics are one of a kind. And now, they’re poised to take on Boston for Games 3 and 4 of the Stanley Cup final!
Travel Zoo came on board today at a media rally to sponsor The Green Men’s flight and tickets. UBC Robson Square in downtown Vancouver was packed with adoring fans as well as local and Boston media alike. They all converged on Robson Square’s ice rink at 11:45 am to hear the Green Men’s Boston travel plans.
Afterwards, the duo answered questions and signed everything under the sun.
The Green Men fan base is definitely growing by the minute.
A lot of questions were fired off, such as the ever-popular “Are your suits ever washed”? Answer: “Only at times when necessary. Shrinkage can be a “problem”!
The David Letterman show? Why not? It’s been rumoured that the duo will appear sometime in the near future, and their answer? “We’d love to! Let’s do it.”
With a Ben Affleck cut-out ready to go, they’ll be headed to Boston after Saturday’s game, and I’m sure I’m not the only one waiting to see what they’ve got up their lycra sleeves next week.
