Welcome end of summer and its wonderful bounty of colourful heirloom tomatoes! Abundant, locally-grown, and vitamin-packed, Provence Marinaside’s put together a chef’s tasting menu ($48; additional wine pairing, $20) showcasing tomatoes, grilled prawns, halibut, Dungeness crab, and seared Sockeye salmon.
Feast your eyes on Chef Jean-Francis and Alessandra Quaglia’s tomato menu, and grab a chair at the patio with a lovely view of the Yaletown marina. Provence’s Mediterranean Grill in Point Grey also offers a tomato-showcasing prix-fixe menu.
