Arts Club Presents Peter Pan Goes Wrong

Anything is possible with faith, trust and a little bit of pixie dust—that is, until it all goes awry! Peter Pan Goes Wrong, the international comedy sensation from Mischief Theatre Worldwide, kicks off the Arts Club’s 2022–2023 season at the Stanley Industrial Alliance Stage, from September 8 to October 16.

As the beloved members of the The Cornley Polytechnic Drama Society try their best to put on the J.M. Barrie classic, Peter Pan, they find that getting to Neverland is not as easy as it seems.

From technical glitches to flying mishaps and cast quarrels, the crew face it all as they set course for the second star to the right and straight on ‘til morning. Nominated for an Olivier Award for Best New Comedy, Peter Pan Goes Wrong turns the childhood story of the boy who never grew up into an outrageously funny disaster.

The London Evening Standard calls Peter Pan Goes Wrong “Two hours of pure comic bliss.” This is just what we need after two very crazy years!

The Arts Club’s production in association with Citadel Theatre marks the North American premiere production and includes an entirely Western Canadian cast hailing from both Edmonton and Vancouver.

The Arts Club’s Artistic Director Ashlie Corcoran added, “This piece is the perfect, family-friendly slapstick celebration of theatre to open our 2022–2023 season!”
