Tomorrow, August 6, Vancouver UBER and CAARE (Companion Animal Advocacy & Rescue Effort) are teaming up to bring a furry experience to Downtown Vancouverites.
All proceeds from each $30 15-minute puppy playdate will be donated directly to the Vancouver-based registered nonprofit dedicated to animal welfare, advocacy, education and rescue. CAARE is also dedicated to the prevention of pet overpopulation by advocating for spay and neuter programs and responsible pet ownership.
With the tap of a button, plan on a furry friend to spark your day. Here’s how:
– Open your Uber app on Thursday, August 6 between 11 am and 3 pm
– Request the “PUPPIES” option. Note: Puppies can only be delivered to offices.
– For $30, you and your colleagues will get to enjoy 15 minutes of puppy playtime.
– Found your Most Valuable Pup? All puppies are eligible for adoption!
*Please ensure that your boss and building will allow dogs and that nobody on your team is allergic! It is also preferred that you have a dedicated room for puppy playtime, and that any additional animals in the space aren’t present during the session.
