If you’re looking for a pretty, easy-to-wear strappy sandal that’ll work with just about everything in your summer wardrobe, look no further than KEEN’s new City of Palms sandal.
From the soft-grain leather to the metal buckle featuring the KEEN logo with a few simple design flourishes, I knew this shoe would fit the bill for summer versatility as I searched online for a sturdy pair of leather-lined sandals.
The lightweight City of Palms also have a soft, floral-designed footbed that’s instantly comforting to the feet. The rubber, non-marking soles continue the floral motif. The sizing is pretty accurate, too (and available in both full and half sizes from women’s 5 to 11).
I like the simple, criss-cross straps, each one with a tiny KEEN-branded “K” rivet. There’s an elastic bit of material wrapped around the buckle that allows for some give when wearing.
I’ll be pairing these summery sandals with everything from shorts and t-shirts to summer skirts and sundresses. In addition to black, the City of Palms comes in Ribbon Red, Tortoise Shell/Ultramarine, and Cascade Brown.
KEEN sent me the City of Palms sandals in black to test drive for this feature. Opinions, as always, are my own.
