Get ready to meet Smash + Tess in person! On May 20 and 21, Smash + Tess, a Vancouver-based line of premium dreamwear, will celebrate the launch of their online shop with a pop-up at Main Street’s Little Mountain Shop.
The online company invites women to relax, indulge and imagine. Be among the first to experience Smash + Tess in person while perusing their curated collection alongside original works of art by local artist Dana Mooney.
Designed and ethically produced in North America, Smash + Tess believes that women should feel confident and beautiful every moment of the day, no matter whether it’s spent in the boardroom, on a school run, or between the sheets after a day spent conquering the world.
Their collection draws from timeless, vintage-inspired style using quality fabrics made to last. Leave your ratty sweatpants and yoga wear behind – Smash + Tess are here to bring you something you’ll look forward to putting on after a long day at work — or hours spent on a long flight.
This mother and daughter bestie team have had a lifelong obsession with stylish sleepwear. Matching pajamas have been one of their favourite traditions on Christmas morning, however the search for cute, comfortable pajamas became nearly impossible as the years went by. There just wasn’t anything out there that they truly loved.
A few years of brainstorming, dreaming and serious fashion schooling later, Smash + Tess was born.
With a career in the financial services industry, founder/owner Teresa Freeborn has always believed in people helping people. Raised in Tsawwassen, BC with three sisters, Teresa’s love of sleepwear began early on. Pajama parties were commonplace at home, but Teresa was always frustrated that she couldn’t find pajamas that were elegant yet playful.
After her daughter Ashley attended fashion school in 2014, the duo decided to take the plunge with Smash + Tess. Teresa currently calls Los Angeles home and enjoys downtime with her husband, puppy, family and friends.
Smash + Tess take quality and comfort seriously, using 100% pure fabrics that deliver the highest levels of comfort and wearability, while enhancing technical qualities such as warmth and wicking. Fabrics used include cotton, modal spandex, cotton spandex, chiffon/polyester and bamboo spandex.
Head down Main Street this Friday and Saturday to check out their line. You may just spend the entire weekend in your new, stylish chill dreamwear!
