Join the Simon Fraser University Choir in their upcoming Global Village concert, as they bring music from countries around the world, including China, Norway, Australia, India, Cuba, Tanzania, and Bali to North Burnaby’s Cliff Avenue United Church!

Featuring Jai Ho from the movie Slumdog Millionaire and Christopher Tin’s Kia Hora, come explore the music of many different cultures and languages, in a show sure to please all tastes.

Over its 20-year history, the SFU Choir has attracted members from all areas of study. With nearly 100 members, the choir is open to students, staff, alumni, and the community. The SFU Choir sings a wide variety of music from various genres, and prides itself on being a fun and welcoming environment for all.

Musical styles range from traditional, including requiem masses, to the fun and slightly nerdy — the SFU Choir has done it all. The choir takes great pride in the musical abilities of its members, and frequently performs pieces arranged by their very own choristers.
