Skool’s out and the puppets are ready to party! On August 26, The Vancouver International Puppet Festival, in collaboration with The Granville Island Cultural Society bring you a night of unbridled puppet acts.

Expect a wild array of Greater Vancouver’s brave, bold and beautiful puppeteers to throw their names into a hat to wow you in 10 minutes or less!

Cash bar, wonder, and magic are all at your fingertips at this laugh-a-minute, cry-a-minute, learn-a-minute, love-a-minute night of madness-a-minute. Come see just how many styles of puppetry are possible in one evening.

Also of note, this fall, Vancouver’s Granville Island will be taken over by the dazzling and daring world of puppetry in a wonderful gathering of puppetry from all disciplines.

With performances, films, workshops, discussion panels and a curated window display gallery walking tour in partnership with Granville Island businesses, the Vancouver International Puppet Festival will offer something for everyone, from puppet enthusiasts to those newly discovering one of the world’s oldest and most versatile art forms.
