While we’ve had a deep, sticky and smoky summer here in Vancouver, the team at Indigo has kept busy prepping its holiday collection and we got a sneak peek at the latest and greatest holiday goods to satisfy everyone on your list this winter.

The beautiful penthouse suite at Coal Harbour’s Loden Hotel was again the backdrop, with items spread out across several rooms, spilling out onto its spacious deck with killer views.

This season contains a lot of pretty pastels from shawls to Instax mini 9 cameras for the tech lovers in your life.

Cute nutcracker and mountie pillows and accessories will fill your home with a cozy vibe while a wide range of dishes and mugs make a great excuse to show them off at dinner parties.

Toques and gloves make an appearance as do purses and backpacks in both prints and solids — this classic black quilt backpack gets a fuzzy grey pompom clip-on keychain.

Splurges might include this beautiful copper-toned beats by Dr. Dre wireless headphone set or a jewel-adorned clutch.

Books are aplenty: cookbooks, coffee table books, dramas, humour, kids — great for suiting all tastes and budgets.

A big trend we’re seeing this year are decorative message pillows. My Weekend is All Booked (18 x 18 cm; $39.50) would make the perfect gift along with a good read for a bookworm on your list. There are sports-themed pillows as well as simple quotes in black text.

Another cozy idea is a throw. Indigo Design Studio has a selection of super-soft pieces in faux fur. You also can’t go wrong with a scented candle. We noticed a lot of fragrant and expression candles among the collection.

Kids will love these sweet little stuffed companions at their bedside.

There’s no shortage of tree ornaments as well, from animals to vintage sports items to gilded pineapples, a popular motif these days.

We like this little sprinkled donut; it stands out from the traditional and perfect for a foodie friend.
