World famous ballet school The Goh Ballet will perform scenes from The Nutcracker for one night only, Thursday December 8 at 6 pm (fashion stage).

SmartCar will host a fashion show on Friday night at 7 pm, Saturday at 1 and 3 pm, and on Sunday at 1 pm.

ING Direct’s Orange Room is back with a twist this year! One of a Kind and ING Direct are proud to present “bINGo” in the Orange Room, every evening from 4 to 7 pm (excluding Sunday).

How to Make an Ugly Creature (and Why) on CRAFT!

Kim Werker of MightyUgly will be at the show this year with several workshop sessions. Build your own creation. “When the goal is to make something ugly, failure is kinda pretty“. No crafts experience necessary. Adults only; free workshop, but registration is required.

Students from Kwantlen University, Vancouver Island University, Vancouver Community College, Vancouver Metal Art School and other institutions will present their latest bodies of work, in ONEOFAKIND SCHOOLS.

Another great new addition to the show is The Paint Bar! Enjoy a glass of wine and make your mark, big or small, on a complimentary communal canvas provided by Raw Canvas. Smocks and coveralls will be provided.

If your kids are just a tad too old for the Daycare Centre (mentioned below), you can send them off to the One of a Kind Jr. area, hosted by DeSerres. A DIY arts and crafts space for kids 8 and up, it’ll be available on a first-come, first-served basis.

Shoppers will also be able to check out the bistro and wine bar (new this year), making the event more of a day or evening out rather than a shopping excursion with a list in hand.

Handy to know:
– Daycare Centre provided by Nannies on Call, for kids 2-8. This service is on a first come, first serve basis with a two hour time limit.
– Complimentary gift wrapping, courtesy of Langara College’s Design Formations program students.
– A parcel check service where staff will check in your shopping bags and carry them out to your car, free of charge.

    Hi Zeineen,
I’d recommend getting in touch with the organizers as I am not affiliated with OOAK Show nor would I know how to apply. This might help though > http://www.oneofakindshow.com/toronto/apply.php
