In a Canadian exclusive, the 2013 Vancouver International Film Festival Film and Television Forum, in collaboration with Cinecoup, is proud to present a special, one-night only live event at The Rio Theatre: A celebration of Breaking Bad and Series Creator Vince Gilligan, featuring a big-screen viewing of Vince’s fave Breaking Bad episode, followed by an intimate Q&A session with Vince.
Fans will get to ask questions and hear both Vince’s personal highlights and behind-the-scenes insights from his legendary series, which has earned seven Emmy Awards to date—including three for Outstanding Drama series—during its five-season run on AMC.
“We are beyond excited to be welcoming Vince Gilligan back to the VIFF Film and Television Forum TWO DAYS before the final episode of Breaking Bad goes to air! Years ago, Vince was a writer on Vancouver’s very own X-Files, and I am sure Vancouver fans of Breaking Bad will give him a heroic welcome as one of our own. We’re honoured Vince has chosen to return to the Forum and to our city at this incredibly special time in his career,” says Film and Television Forum Director Bre Hamilton.
