It’s coming up on 10 years since the world came to Vancouver to take in the 2010 Olympic and Paralympic Winter Games! Where does the time go?!

This Wednesday, February 12, join the B.C. Pavilion Corporation and Vancouver Convention Centre as the 2010 Cauldron will come to life in order to celebrate the 10th anniversary of the 2010 Olympic and Paralympic Winter Games.

Former Canadian Olympic athletes and other special guests will share their #2010memories and celebrate the legacies from the Games. Join in the singing of the national anthem and wear red and white to honour the athletes, staff and volunteers who represented Canada in 2010 as well as those who continue to represent our country on the world’s biggest sports stage.

Olympic Cauldron Re-Lighting

Date: Wednesday, February 12; 8:45 start; cauldron to be lit until 11 am
Venue: Jack Poole Plaza at the Vancouver Convention Centre, 1055 Canada Place, Vancouver

Special guests will include four-time snowboard Olympian Mercedes Nicoll and three-time Freestyle Skiing Olympian Jennifer Heil.
