Fleurs de Villes at Metrotown

Fleurs de Villes, Canada’s premiere Floral Mannequin Series, returns to Greater Vancouver from April 5 to 9 at Metropolis at Metrotown.

The unique, five-day exhibition is Fleurs de Villes’ signature event and the first of its kind in Canada, blending fashion design and fresh blooms with bespoke floral-dressed mannequins and a pop-up fresh flower market.

Over a dozen top local Greater Vancouver florists (including The Flower Factory, Floralista Flower Studio and Quince Fine Florals) will be paired with leading brands to design stunning displays and bring them to life with flowers. Each floral-dressed mannequin is clothed in a one-of-a-kind design made up of hundreds of fresh blooms.

Public viewing of the finished mannequins kicks off with a VIP preview launch in a gallery-like setting in the heart of Metropolis at Metrotown on Tuesday, April 4. The exhibit then continues through Sunday, April 9 during regular business hours.

According to Fleurs de Villes co-founder Karen Marshall Ducommun, “Fleurs de Villes is a showcase for local, world-class floral design. Our pop-up shows are stunning examples of the artistry of flowers, presented in some of the most elegant shopping centres in the country. We are thrilled to bring our event to Metropolis at Metrotown for the first time, to connect the public with a sensory experience they won’t see anywhere else.”

All week, shoppers can peruse the display, snap photos and vote for their favourite mannequin for a chance to win exclusive prizes. On Saturday, April 8, there’ll be an all-day pop-up market for purchasing fresh-cut flowers, bouquets, bedding plants, pots and other gardening supplies inside the shopping centre.
