The Ninth Annual Grand Prix of Art, co-presented by Phoenix Art Workshop and the Travellingbrush.com (in partnership with the City of Richmond) is just around the corner, on September 21.
On that morning, the whistle will blow at the stroke of 10 am (pardon the pun). Dozens of artists will then compete to create a masterpiece in three hours. At 1 pm, artists will complete their final brush strokes and put down their brushes.
Following the competition, all works are displayed for public viewing (from 3 to 6 pm) at the Britannia Heritage Shipyards and will remain there until September 23 (viewing on that final day is from noon to 4 pm).
