Dashpoint 20 front and back

Looking for a pouch to safely stow a micro four-thirds, compact camera or GoPro? Lowepro Canada recently sent me Dashpoint 20 and 30 cases, part of the Dashpoint series that includes the smaller 10 for similar camera and gadget needs.

While the Dashpoint AVC 1 and AVC 2 are compartmentalized hard cases for action camera gear, these Dashpoints contain a soft, lined pouch with woven fabric hooks on either end to accommodate the included adjustable (and removable) strap with rotating snap hooks. This top-opening case with reversible zippers also contains a memory card pocket on top.

Lowepro’s patented t-Lock™ attachment system provides vertical webbing and horizontal flaps with hook and loop fasteners to easily secure the pouches to loops and straps as well as daisy chain it to other bags.

With the 20, I was able to fit a Lumix DMC-LX100 into the case on its own (without the neck strap) as well as my GoPro Hero 3+, its charger and charging cable (on the bottom). The Dashpoint 30 fits a Lumix with both neck strap and external flash attached.

Here’s two photos showing a Dashpoint 20 with the USB charger and cable on the bottom and GoPro on top.

Both the construction and material feel durable; the bags are shaped to make it easy to grab in one hand when the bag is sitting with logo facing up.

Sometimes the bag seems to be large, and if you go running, the camera will move up and down. I got a bag, it makes camera fixed in the bag.
