In memory of Emily Margaret Sheane, a Joe Fortes employee taken from the world in a tragic car accident on March 9, 2016, Joe Fortes and Moraine Winery have collaborated on an Okanagan Valley red, EMS Cliffhanger.
With full consent of the Sheane family, a scholarship fund has been established in her honour, to be awarded to a student pursuing post-secondary education.
The custom-labeled bottle will be sold exclusively at Joe Fortes & Moraine Winery with $6 from each bottle sold going towards the scholarship.
Emily loved running food at Joe Fortes, hula-hooping at music festivals and relaxing with friends – one of those rare people that everyone could relate to.
Her free spirit and positive attitude towards life radiated from within. Emily’s departure has left a huge void in the lives of all who knew her. Please raise your glass in honour of raising money for this memorial scholarship and for keeping Emily’s memory alive.
