Interesting Vancouver is an “un-conference”. This spontaneous gathering (sounds like the making of a unique evening!) will offer a panel of speakers covering a wide variety of topics. This year the event will be held on October 8th at Vancouver Rowing Club in Stanley Park. Interesting Vancouver is held around the world in cities such as London, Amsterdam, New York, and London.

The Vancouver confirmed speaker list includes:

Anthony Nicalo, chef and entrepreneur with Foodtree

Lisa Salazar, transgender graphic designer/photographer/story-teller, born in Colombia, raised in California with a journey to convey

Dustin Rivers, leader of the Skwxwú7mesh (Squamish) people, who will discuss the preservation of the worlds language

Cory Weeds, jazz musician and owner of The Cellar Restaurant and Jazz Club in Vancouver’s Kitsilano neighbourhood

Susan Davis, active sex worker, who developed the West Coast of Sex Industry Professionals

Tickets to this third annual event are over half sold and going fast. Order tickets directly through EventBrite. Ticket includes admission, food, and some surprises. Cash bar.
