Inaugural Go Blue Event Now Happening on South Granville

To launch the start of this year’s blueberry season, the British Columbia Blueberry Council (BCBC) has partnered with the South Granville Business Improvement Association (SGBIA) to celebrate all things BLUE – as in blueberries – for Go Blue on South Granville, a 10-day event on through July 28 along South Granville.

Several South Granville restaurants are featuring local blueberries in both savoury and sweet offerings and beverages. Granville Street (from 5th to 16th Avenue) contains splashes of blue as various retailers celebrate blueberries via special promotions, sales, events and decorations.

Look for a special Instagrammable blueberry-themed mural painted along South Granville. Above is a list of stores partaking in the celebration along with contests hosted by VITA Daily and Meinhardt.
