Summer can officially begin now — we’ve got our Naot sandals! The well-loved Israeli footwear and accessory brand has been around since 1942, when members of a small collective farming community in the nation’s Hula Valley started making shoes inside a small workshop on Kibbutz Naot Mordechai.

Naot shoes are sustainably produced with high quality fine Italian leathers together with a signature footbed for out-of-the box comfort. When our men’s and women’s sandals arrived last week, we took them out of their boxes and noticed how comfortable they were from the first time we put them on.
Their shock-absorbing supple suede lining takes on your foot’s natural shape pretty quickly. We also know that the shoes are a solid investment; when the footbed finally gets worn enough, we can replace them and get several more years of life from the shoes.
What makes Naot the uniquely easy-to-wear shoes that they are?

My eyes immediately caught the pretty cut-out pattern of these suede sandals. Part of the women’s Utopia Collection, the Amadora sports an extremely lightweight and durable 1 1/4″ sole, with a velcro-fastening hook-and-loop strap. If you wear orthotics, you’ll be happy to know that the anatomic cork and latex footbed is also removable.

This classic men’s sandal also contains a removable anatomic cork and latex footbed, wrapped in suede. Part of the men’s Scandinavian Collection, the Arthur has a 1 1/2” non-slip, durable and lightweight polyurethane sole.

They feature fully adjustable velcro back straps with two hook-and-loop velcro straps at the instep. These sporty, yet casual sandals are great for summer outings in town or a walk along the beach.
