Eastside Culture Crawl 2010 is just around the corner. For the 14th year in a row, this popular three day event takes place all over Vancouver’s Eastside.

In 1997, the Crawl started with 45 artists and has grown exponentially from there. Last year over 300 artists opened their studios in 60 buildings, allowing art fans to peruse and purchase their work. It’s a nice way to get out and mingle with creative people from all walks of life.

The society’s home page showcases events presented in conjunction with the Culture Crawl. Even the PNE is participating this year, with over 35 artists that will be showcased in a self-contained 20′ x 20′ exhibition space.

That first painting is lovely. Three very distinct paintings show what a range of talent we have in our own backyard. Looking forward to this!
