The shoe’s easy, lace-free fit is excellent for getting them on fast for bike rides and jogs around town — and they don’t weigh down your luggage (like most travellers, we normally wear our heaviest shoes, packing the lighter ones in the suitcase).
From time to time, I’ve been caught mid-power walk looking down at my trainers only to find one of the laces has come undone. With these, you’re set for the day, with an adjustable pull cord system at the top of the shoe for maximizing comfort.
KEEN’s Versatrail offers a lot of cushioning to absorb shock as well as good arch support, cradling your feet’s natural contours. I’ve been taking them around town and notice that tiny pebbles and grit remain outside the shoes, something I often find problematic on uneven terrain.
They fit true to size (these are 8.5’s in Neutral Gray/Saffron) and have that nice mesh lining to keep your feet cool on warmer days.
The Versatrail collection is created with Cleansport NXT™ to control odor naturally and the metatomical dual density PU footbed is removable for inserting orthotics if needed. What I like most though about these shoes are the details.
The lace system contrasts nicely with the main colour while the midsole and lace system are patterned in the accent colours, helping to hide dirt. Even the rubber outsoles of these are colour-coordinated!
