The third annual Gathering Place Community Centre Art Show opening will take place on Thursday, April 7, from 6 to 8 pm.

Building on the success of 2009’s Downtown South: Art from the Street and the Community and 2010’s CONNECT: Our Community Our Art, Our Show, the Arts Alive @Vancouver 125 show will bridge the diversity of Vancouver’s Downtown South neighbourhood by showcasing the artwork of some of the area’s most vulnerable residents alongside more established artists who live or work in the community.

Over 100 works of art will be showcased including paintings, photography, sculpture, pottery and mixed media.

Arts Alive @Vancouver 125
