Grab your sweetheart and pucker up at Vancouver Aquarium’s After Hours on Valentine’s Day. Indulge in an alluring and amusing exploration of the sex lives of aquatic animals while enjoying a drink in hand.
Your ticket gains you access to Vancouver Aquarium after hours including the Wet Lab, all galleries, the 4-D theatre and Vortex – Douglas Coupland’s radical art installation.

In addition to exploring the Aquarium’s galleries at night, you can also enjoy special programs covering a range of hot topics.
Discover which aquatic animal has the biggest penis to body size ratio, which creatures engage in courting and which species mates for 14 hours straight during a sex talk by Vancouver Aquarium veterinary fellow Dr. Megan Strobel.
Vancouver Aquarium® scientists agree that blushing can be considered camouflage when discussing topics such as coral sex. Don’t miss the thrilling shark sex program exploring four (yes – four!) ways that sharks reproduce.
You can also participate in a naughty puppet show that will leave you in stitches or watch the Meet a Penguin program that will bring you toe to webbed toe with these loveable birds.
Leave the kids at home; this racy event is for meant for an adults only. Cocktails, beer and wine will be available for purchase throughout the Aquarium.
