Spoiled Child promo shot

Spoiled Child Saves the Polar Bears is a new Canadian myth for the 21st century. When c-list celebrity Spoiled Child needs a career boost, she cynically jumps on the bandwagon of a popular cause – global warming. The faded star’s fantastical journey takes her from Toronto, Ontario to Churchill, Manitoba to Eureka, Nunavut where a chance encounter with Margaret Atwood and a run-in with a tight-lipped scientist lead her to the startling realization that she might actually care about something after all, culminating in a bizarre twist-ending.

Originally from Calgary, Katherine Sanders has graced the stages of Alberta Theatre Projects, Theatre Calgary, and One Yellow Rabbit, to name a few. After moving to Toronto in 2006, Katherine wrote two plays, The Super Secret Subway Society, (Toronto KidsFringe 2012), and (if you want it), which received a workshop at the Stage One Festival at Lunchbox Theatre in 2009.
