Jian Ghomeshi

Take a look at a great upcoming event that’s headed our way. Jian Ghomeshi, CBC Radio One’s Q DJ, has written a memoir, 1982, based on his David Bowie obsession. An ‘almost-Bowie’ roamed the streets of Canadian suburbia in the 80’s dressed as the only Persian-Canadian New Waver!

CBC On the Coast host Stephen Quinn will sit down with Ghomeshi at UBC’s Frederic Wood Theatre to learn about Jian’s 80’s life and how he’s grown to become the wildly popular music loving DJ that Canadians and the world over have come to know and love.
